The first Android phone to hit Malaysia is HTC Magic.

The magically-themed launching of the Malaysian First Android phone was held in Zouk KL early June and was proudly graced by a strong media show up. Among the invited guests where lowyat.net and emmagem.com.
Being the sole provider of HTC Magic in the country, for the moment, Celcom has unveiled a HTC Magic package for those interested.
Celcom HTC Magic Package allows you to be a proud owner of a black HTC Magic for the price of RM 1,999 with a 12 months mandatory minimum commitment fees from RM 148. The monthy commitment fees of RM 148 is based on Celcom’s Exec 50 plan while the RM 250 monthly commitment is based on Celcom’s Exec 250 plan.
There is also an upfront fee of RM 300 which will be rebated over a six months billing cycle. This Magic plan might end June or July 2009 so you better check them out at Celcom Blue Cube outlets if you cannot wait already.
The HTC Magic will be available at a suggested retail price of RM2,699 from June 15 onwards at participating Celcom Blue Cube outlets. The standard retail package comes with an 8GB microSD card.
The phone will be available at all authorised resellers from mid July and will come with a 2GB microSD card.
